STOCKHOLM SECRETS { TVÅ }

.

Sunday walk through Djurgården

in the crisp December air,

with our minds set on a mid-morning coffee

… but with our fingers and toes in deep freeze mode,

we grabbed  a cup of steamy glögg instead.

*

This is a haven

I'll have to keep returning to

on future Stockholm visits.

    1. The Swedes have a real talent
      for adding so much atmosphere
      wherever they lay their hands!

    1. Ihana keidas tosiaan,
      ja niinkin lähellä keskustaa.
      Haluaisin vielä nähdä paikan
      keväällä, loppukesästä, syksyllä…

  5. It all looks so beautiful, it's been years since I've been to Stockholm and I really need to visit again. The snow and frost gives it such a calm atmosphere - I just wish we could have some snow now as well...

    1. Stockholm took us by surprise with its streets covered under a dusting of snow
      and rather cold winter breeze
      - but this lended such a lovely atmosphere
as a backdrop to the cosy factor that Swedes are so good at.
      You should definitely go :)

    1. I can't tell you enough how much I enjoyed our time in Stockholm
      - nearly four days with a good friend
with whom we share such similar tastes.
Like an injection of beauty and serenity for this season!

  8. Så vackra vinterbilder från Rosendahls trädgård. Jag har varit där många gånger men bara under sommaren. Förstår att du hade en fin resa.

    1. Thank you so much for your sweet message Ann
      - Swedish is absolutely fine, I understand it quite fluently,
but probably make a lot of silly mistakes when writing :)
Rosendal was magical also in wintertime
with the twinkling lights in the greenhouses
and cosy atmosphere in the café despite the cold :)
Wishing you a lovely Christmas, too,x

  10. Ihania nämä Tukholma-sarjan kuvasi! Rauhallisia ja seesteisiä - eli ihan täydellisiä kaiken joulutohinan keskelle.

    1. Kiitos Suvi - nuo lähes neljä Tukholma-päivää
      olivat kyllä ihanan rauhaisia
      - sitä seesteisyyttä yritin pullottaa mukaan.
